As of the first quarter of 2017, Facebook had more than 1.94 billion global monthly active users, including over close to 1.74 billion mobile monthly active users. Now, the Facebook community has grown to over 2 billion people.

“We had a good second quarter and first half of the year,” said Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook founder and CEO. “Our community is now two billion people and we’re focusing on bringing the world closer together.”
