July 2016 was the hottest month on record, as confirmed by NASA’s Goddard Institute of Space Studies, the Copernicus Climate Change Service in Europe and the Japan Meteorologic Agency.

NASA said the average global temperature in July was 1.51 degrees warmer than the 1950-1980 global average. This may put 2016 on pace to break 2015’s record as the hottest year ever recorded.
