Now you can share your Infogram charts and infographics as static images, too. Change the type to “Image” in the Publish dialogue, and this will generate a .png image.
Static images are responsive and mobile friendly, and great for sharing via email, Skype or any other instant messaging service.
Save time by using the URL
What’s really cool is that even if you embed a static image, either through the url or by copy/pasting the embed code, whenever you update your chart in Infogram, the published image will also update automatically.
If you use any kind of ftp client, or a content management system (CMS), you can use the URL to upload the image, with the advantage that if you make any changes to the original chart, the published chart will also be updated, saving you the effort of uploading a new image to your article, post or newsletter.
In addition, all interactive charts will show a static image as a fallback for people using IE 6, 7 or 8.
